紫茎甲是鞘翅目叶甲科茎甲属的林木蛀干害虫。1981年,在我场首次发现危害杉木纯林,以后陆续发现危害泡桐、香椿、川柏、毛竹等.据1989年调查,我场4000亩杉木人工林中,有1500亩受到了不同程度的危害。为了摸清“紫茎甲”的发生规律和危害情况,从1982年6月起,我们对该虫进行了观察,现将材料整理如下:
Purple stems are Coleoptera leaf armor genus forest stems pests.
