棉花高密度栽培(万株棉)是增产的一条重要途径。万株棉田充分利用了地力、阳光,具有早熟、生长期集中、高产、优质等优点。但是密植后个体间争水、争肥、争光照,极易疯长,加剧了个体和群体之间的矛盾,如不加以控制,则由于中下部荫蔽,蕾铃大量脱落,反而造成减产。我们试验小区按每亩留苗1·1万株,采用30ppm和300ppm的生长延缓剂—矮壮素的水溶液,在蕾期叶面喷施,来控制万株棉植株的株型,以取得棉花高产。矮壮素能迅速而有效地抑制棉花高度生长和果枝伸长,其抑制作用随矮壮素浓度的
