既有铁路复测,以确切反映既有线的现状为根本宗旨。新编《线路设计手册》(简称)初稿指出,选择曲线半径应“尽最大程度地使拨距最小”,即选定的曲线要尽可能地接近于既有线。而现行计算方法,首先假定缓和曲线长度,然后确定圆曲线半径,结果由于缓和曲线长度取值随意性较大,人为地加大了拨距,掩盖了现状存在的问题,不能很好地起到复测作用。在既有曲线半径选择中,存在着优化问题,因而需要对目标函数和优化方法进行深入研究,以解决存在问题。
