In this paper, we discuss a compact anti-jamming balanced mixer in microstrip media. The integrated mixer rejects more than 20 dB of image interference in the 8-12 GHz range and has a noise figure of 10.6 ± 0.6 dB (of which 2.5 dB is the mid-frequency contribution). It is designed on a 4O ohm impedance base and is scalable to 40% fractional bandwidth in the 1 to 12GHz range.
