As a loyal, fair and factual medium, news should be cautiously considered in choosing metaphors properly. Before vivid metaphors can make news new and exciting, writers of political news should think twice about the use of metaphors, though the implicit meaning of these metaphors is sometimes subtle. In addition, contributors can turn to neutral neutral metaphorical terms with less implicit meanings, or simply make a fair amount of credible descriptions in plain language, which can increase readers’ interest in the news. On the other hand, readers should also be careful when looking at metaphorical terms to prevent them from being negatively affected.
