“小黄瓜”原来的官方名称是瑞士再保险总部大楼,2004年5月正式投入使用,2007年被出售后直接按地址改称圣玛利艾克斯30号大楼。高达180米,高度存伦敦城区内排名第二。其内部主要为办公室,平日不对外开放。底部两层为商场,顶楼两层有360度旋转餐厅和娱乐俱乐部,可以利用购物或者进餐娱乐的机会入内参观。另外楼前广场和花园中有一些酒Ⅱ巴餐馆可供休憩。该建筑号称伦敦第一座生态环境摩天楼,是英国建筑师Norman Foster的设计作品。“小黄瓜”自建成以来一直褒贬不一,可谓是当代最富争议的建筑之一。
