洋芋是一种生长期较短,再生能力强,产量高的作物,在我县来说,洋芋既是主粮又是菜,群众喜吃爱种,在农业生产和群众生活中一直占有重要地位,但是近年来,由于环腐病的危害和品种严重退化,产量下降,面积减少。为此,我场遵照毛主席“病虫害是农业生产的最大障碍,彻底消灭其危害,是保证农业增产的关键”的教导,从1971年开始,本着外引和本场杂交选育相结合的办法,开展了洋芋新品种繁殖工作,从五个省区引进44个新品种,
