The purpose of this study was to determine if there were any parameters in a body surface electrocardiogram (ECG) that contained sufficient information to predict the outcome of electrocardiographic stimulation (EPS), and if so many patients were protected from unnecessary EPS examination. Methods: The experimental group was 51 patients with coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction or dilated cardiomyopathy, and the control group was 19 normal people. Two groups of patients were used for EPS-induced test, 51 patients were divided into A and B groups according to whether they could induce sustained VT. Ventricular late potentials (VLPs) were also recorded at normal sinus rhythm intervals. A new filtering device is also designed to facilitate the comprehensive analysis of the time and frequency domains of the whole QR 3 wave (mostly high frequency components).
