From August 1999 to January 2000, 480 patients with chronic hypertrophic rhinitis were selected randomly from our clinic, including 334 males and 146 females; the youngest was 9 years old and the oldest was 52 years old, with an average of 30 .7-year old. The shortest duration of 6 months, up to 30 years.
