华 为公司成立于 1988年,是专门从事程控交换机研究、开发、生产、销售的高新技术企业。华为自成立以来,一直坚持“技术上瞄准美国,管理上学习日本,工作上学习德意志民族一丝不苟的实干精神”,溶合中华风,始终以世界一流企业为目标,在较短的时间内迅速成长为以人才密集、技术密集、资金密集为特点的高技术企业。公司现有员工1400余人,其中博士、硕士、高级工程技术人员约700人,90%以上员工具有大专以上学历,公司员工平均年龄为26岁。1995年工业产值突破10亿元。
