1 1992年6月7日,上海市副市长倪天增在北京抱病参加东亚运动会宣传活动时,病发辞世。2 街头巷尾都在传:他是为了“阿拉”累死的。倪天增在位9年,分管上海的城建、交通、邮电。另外他还有三顶被挂在市民嘴边的 “头衔”:风雨市长、辛苦市长、平民市长。风风雨雨、日日夜夜、浦东浦西……在市民最关注的地方,在百姓最揪心的时刻,总能看到倪副市长和蔼的脸庞、疲惫的身影和那无数串匆促的足印。
