After 10 years of meticulous preparations for the establishment of the National Chinese Language Association Rural Middle School Language Teaching Reform Research Center and the first annual meeting was held on August 10, 1996 in Suzhou, a historical and cultural city in Jiangsu Province. At 9:00 on August 10th, hundreds of representatives from 26 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country, as well as invited leaders and experts attended the grand meeting of the center.
