公共图书馆是市场经济迅速发展下的必然产物,是由政府出资兴建的,为社会大众提供文献资料服务的公共场所。现阶段,政府及文化财政部门不断加强公共图书馆的阵地建设,逐步完善功能布局、丰富服务内容、提高服务水平。全国各地公共图书馆免费开放工作有了长足的发展,取得了明显的实效,受到广大群众的欢迎。但是与人民群众的迫切需求仍存在较大的差距。下面从七个方面共同探讨公共图书馆如何做好免费开放工作。
The public library is an inevitable product of the rapid development of the market economy and is a public place funded by the government to provide the public with documentation and information services. At this stage, the government and cultural and financial departments continue to strengthen the construction of public library positions, and gradually improve the functional layout, enrich service content and improve service levels.
