上海海运(集团)公司是交通部直属大型企业,职工人数约3万人,拥有200多艘船。船舶总载重吨位给310万吨。随着国民经济发展以及航运单位面向世界的外向型特点,环境保护领域越来越被重视,人们对环境质量的要求也越来越高。这20年来,我(集团)公司在环境保护的机构设置、人员安排、制定规章制度、加强监督管理、安装船舶防污设备方面都做了大量工作,有的还属创新,使环保工作达到了一个新的水平。 一、所做的主要工作 1.机构设置 按国务院和交通部要求,自从1973年上半年起设置了兼职环保工作人员,1975年正式成立上海海运局环境保护办公室,统一对我局的环境保护工作进行监督和管理。
