初中科学课是一门以实验为基础的综合学科,化学实验是其中必不可少的组成部分。《新课标》与原教学大纲相比,加强了实验教学,把以前很多的演示实验改为“活动探究”,并增添了许多家庭小实验,其目的是为了突出学生的实践活动,充分发挥学生的主体性。实验是化学的灵魂、魅力和激发学生学习兴趣的主要源泉,更是培养和发展学生思维能力、实践能力和创新能力的重要方法和手段。针对目前中学化学实验教学的不足和素质教育的要求,很有必要利用微型实验开展探究学习,以充分发挥实验的功能,提高学生的科学素养。
