目前,已研制出各种刀具异常检测法,各有其优缺点。这里介绍利用AE信号检测刀具破损的方法,检测是在加工过程中进行的,并可对小直径刀具的破损进行检测。所谓AE(Acoustic Emission),其定义为“固体释放塑性变形乃至破坏时为止所储存的应变能量而产生弹性波的现象”。AE产生的弹性波称为AE波,接受AE波的传感器——AE转换元件的输出,或将该输出放大后的电气信号,称为AE信号。
