面对全球信息化建设的机遇和挑战,天津市政府作出了一项跨世纪的战略决策——建设天津信息港。天津信息港的建设,标志着天津市将成为中国北方地区重要的信息产业中心和基地。为了更好地配合天津市信息港工程建设,加速天津市各行业的信息化工程,天津市订于今年10月28日-—30日,召开’98中国(天津)计算机网络与应用国际研讨会,此次研讨会将带来世界各国先进技术、产品、计算机网络技术的发展趋势,并将成为天津市和各省市及各信息产业公司合作交流的舞台。
