江南的6月,已入初夏。今年初夏的6月8日,是一个值得记住的日子。就在这一天,承载几代人百年梦想的杭州湾跨海大桥在慈溪水路湾隆重奠基。在浙江建设史上,也许我们再也找不出第二座桥像杭州湾跨海大桥那样引起社会各界的高度关注。特别是在浙江加速融入长三角经济圈的大背景下,它的开工建设让人们陡然间意识到,“环杭州湾”概念正变得前所未有的清晰。从江河迈向海洋的,将不仅仅是这座雄伟的跨海大桥,更有这块黄金般的土地。

On this day, the Hangzhou Bay Bridge carrying hundreds of years of dreams of several generations laid the foundation stone in Cixi Waterway Bay. In the history of the construction of Zhejiang, perhaps we can no longer find the second bridge as the Hangzhou Bay Bridge as aroused great concern from all walks of life.
