6月24日获悉:明碁电脑获国际知名电脑厂商的显示器定单,将使明基电脑下半年平均每月出货量增加近50万台。根据明碁电脑1999年1～5月显示器出货量的统计,1999年全年出货量可望超过400万台,迈向500万台大关。除显示器定单增加,明基电脑在通讯产品、扫描仪、投影机、可重复读写型光驱(CD-RW)、液晶显示器、PDP 等离子显示器等方面部有大幅度增长。目前单月 CD-RW 产量约4万至5万台,液晶显示器单月产量约1万台。明碁电脑转投资的达基科技将干7月份
