(一)“二战”时期,连江是闽东革命的策源地之一。早在一九二九年九月连江就建立了党的特支,一九三一年十一月成立了县委。党领导的农民运动蓬勃兴起。一九三二年八月,闽东工农游击第十三支队在连江官坂合山村正式成立,这标志着连罗革命进入了武装斗争的新阶段。十三支队在成立不到三个月的时间内,粉碎了敌人对连罗地区的三次“围剿”,争取了丹阳、桂林民团二十多人携枪起义,先后打垮了连罗两县十八个地主
