庞泰嵩,广西玉林人,1938年生。中国美术家协会会员,国家一级美术师,广东省美术家协会理事。1964年毕业于广州美术学院。数十年来专攻山水,执著追求,在着墨敷彩、落笔用线、点染渍皱、构图立意等都做着不倦的探索和尝试,把墨韵肌理效果和酣畅遒劲、富于灵动感的笔触发挥得淋漓尽致,尤其是被称为“见云笔”的表现手法,以其难度之高,描绘手法之独特,深为国内外人士所赞誉。作品多次参加全国美展,并被邀请参加在德国、日本、瑞典、比利时、加拿大和澳门等地展出。从80年代末以来,先后在台北、新加坡、香港、广州、深圳、玉林、东莞等地举办了个人画展,获得广泛的好评。进入90年代,他的作品进入了一个黄金时期,《激流》在日本参加中日美术交流展览评比时获得金奖;《云海出岫》在台湾参加中国名书画家作品展时获一等奖。1992年秋,《首届中国名家书画精品拍卖会》在深圳开槌,他的作品首次进入拍卖市场:在尔后的拍卖中,庞泰嵩的作品屡创佳绩,为藏家所看好。他的不少作品,为毛主席纪念堂、中南海紫光阁、中央军委大楼及一些知名美术馆、知名人士等多方面所收藏。

Entering the 90’s, his work entered a golden age. “Torrent” won the gold medal in Japan’s participation in the China-Japan Art Exchange Exhibition; “Yunhai Chuixiu” won the first prize when participating in the exhibition of famous Chinese calligraphers and painters in Taiwan. In the autumn of 1992, “The First Chinese Famous Painting and Calligraphy Fine Auction” opened its doors in Shenzhen, and his work entered the auction market for the first time: In later auctions, Pang Taisong’s works have made repeated achievements and are promising to collectors. Many of his works are collected by Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Zhongguang Hai Ziguang Pavilion, the Central Military Commission Building and some well-known art galleries and celebrities.
