ADI recently introduced the ADuM4135 isolated IGBT gate driver to improve motor energy efficiency, reliability, and system control performance for industrial motor control applications. The single package ADuM4135 integrates Analog Devices, Inc.’s award-winning iCoupler digital isolator technology with proven current isolation to ensure safety and reliability while delivering the industry’s best feature set - CMTI (Common Mode Transient Immunity) 100kV / μs and propagation delay of 50ns (typical). With the ADuM4135, customer products will meet IE3 and IE4 motor efficiency standards, keeping pace with industry trends that both motor control and grid inverter switching to higher frequency switching technologies. Safety features include integrated Miller clamp and desaturation detection.
