IFX计划,是美国激光武器发展计划的英文简称,是美国国防部科研局与美国空军共同勾画的二十一世纪用激光武器进行太空作战的蓝图。此计划预计到2013年完成,计划的前期和中期工作目前已完成,美国空军正集中精力攻克最后的难关。
The IFX project is the abbreviation for the American Laser Weapons Development Program. It is a blueprint for the use of laser weapons for space operations in the 21st century outlined by the US Department of Defense Research Institute and the U.S. Air Force. The plan is expected to be completed by 2013. The pre- and mid-term work of the plan has now been completed and the US Air Force is concentrating on conquering the final difficulties.
