A knowledge is a system; however, a specialized dictionary often treats the concepts of terms as one in the knowledge system as an individual, and arranges and interprets them in the order of their voice or strokes. This disconnect between the term individual and the original knowledge system is a contradiction that dictionaries should solve. A review of 12 linguistic specialist dictionaries published in China shows that there are very few dictionaries that are intended to solve this contradiction. Among them, “Russian and Chinese, Russian and Chinese linguistics terminology (draft)”, “English Linguistics vocabulary”, “Japanese-Chinese linguistics commonly used vocabulary manual”, “multi-word comparison linguistics vocabulary” these four are different languages There is a wide coverage of subjects in selected lexicons, but they fail to cover the more elaborate aspects of knowledge in the branches of linguistics, and there is no explanation of the terminology, nor the terminology paraphrase.
