水杉是世界上稀有而珍贵的树种,为我国特产,属落叶大乔木。它生长迅速,材质优良,用途和栽培范围广,但目前水杉母树少,种子缺乏,不能满足大量育苗的需要.广大人民群众在毛主席关于“绿化祖国”和“备战、备荒、为人民”的伟大方针指引下,试验成功了用插条育苗的办法,为大量栽培水杉,多快好省地发展林业开辟了广阔的苗源,使水杉成活率达到90%以上。现将插条育苗的几个问题简介如后.
