有八万多人参加一千多人获奖的常州市“双喜杯”汉语、英语知识大奖赛,于6月下旬圆满结束。这次由常州市语言学会和常州钟表总厂主办的规模较大的知识竞赛对汉语、英语学习、起了积极的推动作用,产生了较大的影响。 这次大奖赛有以下几个特点: 一、从参赛面来看,有广泛的群众性。参赛的八万多人中,年龄最小的仅13岁,年龄最大的为54岁。参赛的有学生、教师,还有工人、干部。在整个大奖赛过程中,出现了一个群众性的学习汉语、英语的热潮。 二,从竞赛的内容来看,有很强的知识性,又有一定的学术性。这次竞赛着重考查掌握汉语、英语知
