珍妮伍兹博士(Dr. Jeannie M. Woods)是美国南卡罗莱那州温特大学(Winthrop University)剧场舞蹈系的教授。她教学也导戏,是“新舞台总体表演剧团”的艺术指导。著作有“改变人类灵魂的剧场——安菊·霍尔和摩琳·史得普顿的艺术”(内有与剧场相关之文论、剧评及书目种种)。 1998—1999年她荣获富博莱特(Fullbright)交换学者的奖助,任教于中国台湾台北艺术学院。 《悲惨世界》——音乐剧的奇葩是她为《上海戏剧》所写的一系列文章的首篇,未来还要写谈美国非商业剧场,美国晚餐剧场和新舞台总体表演剧团作为我刊推出的新栏目,“海外戏谈”系列文章,由作者的学生、台湾学者罗瑞琦先生翻译成中文。
Dr. Jeannie M. Woods is a professor of theater dance at Winthrop University in South Carolina, USA. Her teaching is also a guide to the art, which is the art direction of “The New Stage Theater Company”. His books include The Theater of Changing the Human Soul - Art by Ann Chrysler and Morgan Lynch (with the texts, plays and bibliographies associated with theater). From 1998 to 1999 she was awarded a scholarship from Fullbright exchange academics at the Taipei Fine Arts Institute in Taiwan, China. “Les Miserables” - the first of a series of essays she wrote for “Shanghai Theater,” is a wonderful musical. In the future, she will also write about the U.S. non-commercial theater, the American dinner theater and the new performing stage as a whole. The new column, “Overseas Drama” series of articles, by the author’s student, Taiwan scholar Mr. Luo Ruiqi translated into Chinese.
