土壤调查的技术中心环节,一是土壤分类,二是土壤制图。科学的土壤分类和正确的制图程序方法,是土壤成图的质量基础。土壤图是土壤调查技术成果核心内容的体现。分类和制图搞不好,就不能客观揭示土壤的自然属性和分布规律,影响土壤调查成果落实在生产上的应用。目前正当全国土壤普查全面开展,加强土壤详测制图与土壤基层分类的研究势在必行。当前,按统一的土壤分类原则、依据,科学地划分土壤基层单元,并通过有效的制图程序和方法,改进外业调查方法,是加快土壤普查步伐,完成土壤普查任务的关键,
