二十九年前,斯大林在‘十月革命与俄國共产党人底策略’一文中会預言道:和苏联的十月革命相比,其他國家的社會主義革命將在较为有利的形势下進行,它們的革命將不是孤立的,因為有蘇聯这样一个实力强大的蘇維埃國家的存在。歐洲人民民主國家的建立、鞏固及其革命發展的全部過程,證明了這一预言的正確性。由於蘇聯的援助和支持,歐洲人民民主国家在短期內就治癒了戰爭的創傷,恢復了國民经济,鞏固了人民政權;也正由於蘇聯的援助和支持,以及人民民主國家间的互助台作,使歐洲人民民主国家能够在資本主義包围的條件下奠立社會主義的基礎。
