意大利的分子筛岩矿主要分布在意大利中部和南部,蕴藏量相当大。分子筛岩矿的主要成分是火山灰以及少量的与细小的分子筛晶体结合在一起的轻石、火山烁石、透长石、辉石、黑云母等。岩矿中的分子筛主要是交沸石和菱沸石,含量在20~80%之间,分子筛可能是玻璃态火山灰与水在高温下发生侵蚀反应而生成的,所以分子筛岩矿主要分布在火山区域。 尽管天然分子筛在工业上有很多用途,如废水的处理、动物饲料添加剂、土壤改良剂等等,但从几个世纪以前直到现在,分子筛岩矿用量最大的方面还是在建筑材料上。
Italy’s molecular sieve rock mines are mainly distributed in central and southern Italy, and their reserves are quite large. The main components of the molecular sieve rock deposit are volcanic ash and a small amount of pumice, volcanic sciolite, feldspar, pyroxene, and biotite that are combined with the fine molecular sieve crystals. The molecular sieve in the rock is mainly composed of cross-zeolite and chabazite. The content is between 20 and 80%. The molecular sieve may be generated by the erosion reaction of glassy volcanic ash and water under high temperature, so the molecular sieve rock is mainly distributed in the volcanic region. Although natural molecular sieves have many applications in industry, such as wastewater treatment, animal feed additives, soil amendments, etc., the largest amount of molecular sieve minerals has been used in building materials from centuries ago until now.
