传统语言学家认为转喻是一种修辞表达方式,而认知语言学家指出转喻是一种基本的思维方式和认知工具,并且这种认知方式普遍存在于我们的日常生活当中。本文介绍了转喻认知原理及其分类,并在此基础上分析了转喻在词义发展中的重要作用。
Traditional linguists think that metonymy is a kind of rhetorical expression, while cognitive linguists point out that metonymy is a basic way of thinking and cognitive tools, and this kind of cognition is ubiquitous in our daily life. This paper introduces the cognitive principle of metonymy and its classification, and on this basis, analyzes the important role of metonymy in the development of meaning.
