This article analyzes the unity of the two contradictions which are embedded in the basic economic system and adhere to the principle of public ownership as the main body and the development of various ownership economy. It emphasizes the importance of comprehensively understanding the basic economic system and criticizes the two unilateral understanding of the basic economic system tendency.
