本文分析了造成黄河“96·8”洪水的气象成因:西风带有弱冷空气东移南下,影响三门峡至花园口区间;西太平洋副热带高压势力较强,脊线偏北,西伸显著,并且在三门峡—花园口区间东北部形成一个西北—东南向的高压脊,使三门峡至花园口区间成为水汽输入、能量聚集的区域,极有利于暴雨的产生和维持;减弱的台风倒槽和东南风急流影响三门峡至花园口区间,造成大量水汽输入、强烈辐合上升运动,为暴雨提供了有利的水汽、动力条件。另外,三门峡至花园口区间的特殊地形对暴雨的加强和持续有一定作用。
