牡蛎肉(我国俗称蛎皇)是一种动物性食品.过去一般认为它含有微量的营养素,在维持人体健康上起作用,但科学地阐明它在生物体内的作用机理和效用尚知甚晚.直到近年,日本将本国制作的牡蛎肉浸出物(JCOE),委托英国国立癌症研究中心和法国巴黎大学药学部细胞分子药理学研究所共同进行了成分分析和效用研究.结果表明,它对癌症有抑制作用,并能减轻抗癌药阿霉素(ADM)对心脏的副作用.
Oyster meat (commonly referred to in China as an oyster) is an animal food.
