In the context of economic globalization and cultural pluralism, the concept of localization is first proposed in the economic and cultural fields and gradually extended to the media field. As a strategy echoed by globalization, localization has become an inevitable choice for the survival and development of urban television stations using their geographical advantages. Nowadays, the competitive ecological environment of China’s urban television stations is rather harsh, showing a trend of development with a lack of overall competitiveness and great disparities in strength.
