随着高科技的迅速发展,一种凌驾于电子技术之上的极为尖端的技术应运而生,这就是光脑。 目前世界上第一台光脑,已由欧共体的英国、比利时、法国、意大利和法国的70多位科学家和工程师研制成功。这是一台全光数字计算机。其运算速度比电脑快1000倍。 光脑和电脑的工作原理基本一样,不同的是光子代替了电子,光互连代替了电子导线互连、光开关、光三极管及光存储器。反馈装置和集成电路等部件,代替了电脑中的电子硬件,用光运算代替了电运算。
