众所周知,1927年8月1日凌晨2时,中国共产党在江西南昌打响了武装反抗国民党反动派的第一枪,这是中国共产党独立领导武装斗争和创建革命军队的开始,保存下来的起义力量成为工农红军的骨干之一。1933年7月1日,中华苏维埃共和国临时中央政府决定,自是年起,每年8月1日为中国工农红军成立纪念日。新中国成立后,中国工农红军成立纪念日改称为中国人民解放军建军节。
