一九一五年袁世凯要作洪宪皇帝的时候,天津《广智报》发表了一幅讽刺洪宪帝制的漫画——《走狗图》。正中是袁世凯的漫画像,头戴冕旒,身披龙衮,垂拱而坐。四方是四条狗,画的是为改变国体、恢复帝制作吹鼓手的筹安会中四大将——杨度、胡瑛、孙毓筠、严复。这是有个典故的。湖北著名的报人刘禺生的《洪宪纪事诗》详细记载了这个典故的来龙去脉。
When Yuan Shikai was Emperor Hongxian in 1915, Tianjin Guangzhi Daily published a comic - “a walking dog map” satirizing the Hongxian monarchy. In the middle is Yuan Shikai’s comic book, wearing a crown, wearing a dragonfly, vertical arch and sit. The four parties are four dogs, painting is to change the country, restore imperialism trumpeter’s fourth highest generals - Yang Du, Hu Ying, Sun Yukun, Yan Fu. This is an allusion. The well-known newspaper reporter Liu Yu-sheng of Hubei Province “Hongxian Chronicle Poem” recorded in detail the ins and outs of this allusion.
