科技图书,是人类的共同财富,由于其不断发展,不论过去、现在、乃至将来均需要引进。根据“洋为中用”的方针,借助出版科技翻译图书,无疑可促进我国种技事业的发展。科技信息的交流,也不因时间和国家所限。据联合国教科文组织的资料统计,近20年来,全世界出版的翻译图书,每年可达5万种,其中,科技翻译图书约占30％。近年来,苏、美、英、德和法等国的图书贸易都是入超,足见文化素质高科技发达的国家,高度重视科技翻译图书。
Books of science and technology are the common wealth of mankind. Because of their continuous development, they need to be introduced in the past, present and future. According to the guideline of “foreign policy is for the middle use”, it is undoubtedly able to promote the development of China’s technological industry by publishing books on science and technology. The exchange of scientific and technological information, nor because of the time and the country. According to UNESCO’s statistics, nearly 50,000 translational books are published worldwide every year in the past 20 years, of which about 30% are for science and technology translation books. In recent years, the book trade of countries such as the Soviet Union, the United States, Britain, Germany, France and France has surpassed the trade. It shows that the country with a high-tech education is highly developed, and attaches great importance to science and technology translation books.
