1988年,我还在黑龙江省七台河日报当记者,这一年报社来了个叫孟庆裕的年轻人,总编辑安排他做摄影记者。和小孟有过不多的几次共同采访之后我就从报社调出,当时,我除了感到他干起活来很投入、很认真之外,没有什么特别深刻的印象。 可是后来,孟庆裕的摄影作品(新闻摄影、纪实摄影,间或也有艺术摄影)不断地在国内报刊上露脸,自1989年起,除了七台河日报以外,小孟还在《半月谈》杂志、《中国记者》杂志、人民日报、中国青年报、黑龙江日报等报刊上发表了作品,不仅其摄影作品总数不下
