如果说前五年我们还在为论坛落户海南、海南如何为论坛提供服务保障而津津乐道,那么,随着博鳌亚洲论坛本身及我省服务保障机制的逐步健全,我们的追求早该跨过原先门槛,跃上新的梯级。因为,博鳌亚洲论坛所给予的,决不只是第一个落户中国的国际组织所带来的荣耀,更重要的,是它如何为中国乃至亚洲的经济繁荣做出贡献,其中,包括海南的经济和社会发展如何因论坛而受益。海南作为博鳌亚洲论坛的东道地,面对论坛定址海南的历史机遇和怎样借助论坛谋划海南未来发展,应该是我们积极思考的问题。
