汽车图腾与双年展2012年10月2日,第九届上海双年展城市馆开幕仪式如期举行,一款汽车艺术作品“图腾汽车”(TOTEMOBILE)成为了最受瞩目的焦点。这款展品构造复杂,而且可以变形,参加展会的观众纷纷被吸引。由艺术家基口·麦克默特里用装置艺术的前卫表现手法,以新世代豪华汽车DS19为原型创作的这款汽车,可变成一座高达20米的、具有生命象征意义的图腾柱。
Car Totem and Biennale On October 2, 2012, the opening ceremony of the 9th Shanghai Biennale City Hall was held as scheduled. A car artwork “Totem Car” became the focus of most attention. The exhibit is complex and deformable, attracting spectators. The car, based on the avant-garde approach of installation art by the artist Kiki McCurley, and based on the new generation of the DS19 luxury car, can turn into a symbolic totem pole up to 20 meters in height.
