我们的祖先最早以刀代笔,厚厚的竹简上刻下了一部《春秋》。要搬运这部笨重的《春秋》得用一辆牛车来拉,于是就有了“汗牛充栋”的成语。后来,蒙恬发明了毛笔,中国人写字容易多了。这时蔡伦也造出了纸张,进而毕升又发明了活字印刷。从此中国人在用笔书写历史方面大大向前迈进了一步。这以后漫长的2000年人类史一直到半个世纪前,中国人写字都用的是毛笔。甚至就是直到今天,毛笔仍然是我们文化生活里不可缺少的“文房四宝”之一。这里所说的毛笔,都指的是用兽毛制成的笔,如羊毫、狼毫、兔毫。可是,有谁听说用鸥鸟的羽毛制成的毛笔?
