我作驻外记者期间,阳春三月的一个晚上,在伦敦繁华的特拉法尔加广场附近一家名叫“骄傲”的著名画廊里,灯光柔和、气氛温馨,数十名社会名流、画家和艺术爱好者欢聚一堂,一边慢慢品尝着法国香槟酒,一边细细欣赏着周围墙上大小不同的油画和版画。宾客不断发出赞叹:太美了!真棒!意境深远!这些画大都取材于遥远的东方——长城、农舍、山村、水乡和牧童晚笛等。所有的画中都是一个人的署名——刘海明。这是旅英中国画家刘海明的一次个人画展。在伦敦这样一个艺术氛围很浓的国际大都市举行个人画展并非一件很容易的事情,但刘海明近7年来却在英国举行了十多次这样的个人画展,可见他在英国艺术界为中国人争得了怎样一份荣誉和骄傲。
During my stay as a foreign correspondent, one night in March of spring, in a famous gallery called “Pride” near London’s bustling Trafalgar Square, the lights were soft and the atmosphere was warm. Dozens of celebrities, painters and artists Gather together with art lovers as you enjoy the French champagne slowly while admiring the different sizes of paintings and prints on the surrounding walls. The guests are constantly issuing admiration: so beautiful! Awesome! Far-reaching artistic conception! Most of these paintings are drawn from the far east - the Great Wall, farmhouses, mountain villages, water towns and pastoral night flute. All the paintings are a person’s signature - Liu Haiming. This is a solo exhibition of Liu Haiming, a British artist from China. It is not an easy task to hold a solo exhibition in a cosmopolitan metropolitan area like London, but Liu Haiming has held more than 10 such solo exhibitions in the UK in the past 7 years, showing that he is a Chinese artist in the British art scene How won a honor and pride.
