现如今,在我国很多地区,从幼儿园就开始开设一些英语课程,一直到大学,英语始终伴随着学生的学习。与英语学习投入时间不成正比的是,我国的英语教学所取得的实际效果却不尽如人意,很多学生在学习了十几年的英语以后,依然听不懂、说不好英语,成了名副其实的“聋哑英语”。究其原因,主要还是应试教育种下的恶果。在应试教育的模式下,很多学校更愿意把精力放在分数比重较大的读写能力的训练上来,而忽视了听说能力的练习。
Nowadays, in many areas of our country, some English courses are started from kindergartens, and all the way to university, English is always accompanied by students’ learning. What is not directly proportional to the amount of time spent in English learning is that the actual results achieved in English teaching in our country are not satisfactory. After many students have studied English for more than a decade, they still cannot understand or speak English well. This has become a veritable fact. “Deaf English”. The reason for this is mainly the evil consequences of the exam-oriented education. Under the exam-oriented education model, many schools are more willing to concentrate on the training of literacy skills with a higher percentage of scores while ignoring the practice of listening and speaking skills.
