众所周知,绘画与插花是两门相互独立的门类艺术,它们之间既有联系又有区别。绘画可以是借笔墨表现在画布上的插花艺术,是平面的空间艺术;而插花是以大自然中的实体花材和容器为素材,运用绘画艺术及相关艺术的理论作指导,是主体的时空艺术。在长期的历史发展中,两者以不同的形式存在和变化着。画式插花的产生,则使两者以画板(或画布)为背景,“画中”或“实体”花材,容器及配件和谐统一在一起,成为现代西方插花发展史上一支奇葩(见插页)。一、画式插花的基本特点画式插花区别于一般插花最突出的特点是迫求“画”的艺术效果。表现在如下几方面:第一,以规则的画板作为插花的背景,插花的构图、体量、色彩受背景的制约和规定。第二,“图-底”交融,浑然一体。插花中花材、容器及配件或为画物,或为实体,互相渗透、真真假假。第三,背景的规定性与容器的不规定性形成鲜明对比,但色调和谐。第四,干花、枯枝或画物成为背景与插花的自然过渡,色彩与质感渐变和谐。
As we all know, painting and flower arrangement are two independent categories of art, both of them are connected and different.
