“瓷都”景德镇,镶嵌着一颗蓝色的翡翠,这就是誉满中外的青花瓷。青花,是景德镇四大传统名瓷之一,也是在陶瓷艺坛百花园里历经数百年而盛开的艺术之花。一九七九年九月,它以造型优美庄重,料色幽靓明净,画面素静雅致的传统特色和独特风格,为江西省夺得第一块国家优质产品金质奖牌;今年一九八三年三月,它又以令人着魔、倾倒的东方艺术之魅力,在德国莱比锡春季国际博览会上,荣获金质奖章,成为景德镇陶瓷产品中第一个获得国际博览奖的优秀工艺展品,在世界各国盛享“瓷中瑰宝”,“瓷海明珠”之赞誉,景德镇市人民瓷厂也因生产青花瓷而举世瞩目。
