在首都西郊山区京西电厂工地,有一位朝气蓬勃的老劳动模范。二十多年来,他曾经两次出席过全军、全国的“群英会”,可是从来不把荣誉挂在嘴边。他曾经成功地进行过多次技术革新,为社会主义建设作出了贡献,可是从来不把成绩记在自己账上。无产阶级文化大革命以后,他担任了施工队的领导干部,可是从来没有脱离过生产第一线。他一身工作服经常挂满了汗和土,削瘦的身子永远有使不完的精力,时刻以大庆“铁人”为榜样,日日夜夜地带领群众大干社会主义。工人同志们称赞说:“施工现场是他的办公室,两个膝盖是他的办公桌,从他嘴里蹦不出个‘累’字,他是我们建筑工地的‘铁人’!”这位老劳动模范,就是北京市第六建筑工程公司一工区第一施工队的副队长、共产党员王学礼同志。
