全国高等院校英语专业高年级教学研讨会第二届年会于1998年9月19日至21日在石家庄河北师大东校区召开。这次会议是由北京大学英语教学研究会、北京大学英语系、河北师范大学英语系联合主办的。这次会议得到了河北师大党委和领导的重视和大力支持。来自北京、天津、东北、西北、华北、华东、华中、华南和西南各省、市、自治区的100多名与会代表向大会提交论文60余篇,主要围绕着会议主题进行了广泛深入的讨论。
The second annual meeting of senior professional teaching for English majors in colleges and universities was held in Shijiazhuang Hebei Normal University East Campus from September 19 to September 21, 1998. The meeting was co-hosted by the English Teaching Research Association of Peking University, English Department of Peking University and English Department of Hebei Normal University. This meeting has received the great attention and strong support from the party committee and leaders of Hebei Normal University. More than 100 participants from Beijing, Tianjin, Northeast, Northwest, North China, East China, Central China, South China and Southwest provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions submitted more than 60 theses to the conference, mainly discussing the theme of the conference extensively and in-depth.
