为贯彻国办发[1997]11号《国务院办公厅转发民政部关于清理整顿社会团体意见的通知》的精神,中国公共关系协会主席团会议于1998年3月9日在北京举行。这次会议的主要议题是如何贯彻实行领导班子年轻化和筹备召开理事会问题。在京主席团委员36人,除因病和外出请假外,出席26人。部分高级顾问及部门负责人列席会议。
